Where are we?

We are on the ground floor of the Old Deanery, to the right of Reception.

When are we open?

Monday to Thursday	9.00 - 5.00
Friday	9.00 - 4.00

The centre is open throughout the year except the Christmas/New Year period and Easter weekend. However, if you are making a special journey, it is advisable to telephone beforehand.

What kind of resources do we have?

Over 6,500 books, more than 600 videos, DVDs, CDs and CD-ROMs
Slides, OHPs, posters, training packs, packs for study groups
Boxes of artefacts from world faiths

What can I borrow?

If you live or work in the Diocese of Bath and Wells, you can borrow up to six books at a time for a month and up to four Audio-Visual items for two weeks. If you need to borrow items for a longer period, we can usually arrange it.
Fines for books returned overdue are 5p per item per day. Any money raised will be used to purchase new stock.

If you live a long way from Wells...

We can still help you. You can ring or e-mail with an enquiry and we can help over the phone. Our catalogue is available on this website as well as regularly updated lists of new accessions.

Collecting items:

You can have items delivered to and returned from your nearest public library - please telephone us for details of this free service. If it is urgent and you are happy to pay the costs, we can post items out to you.
