Collective Worship - Planning and Organisation
Collective Worship should be planned around themes which reflect the cycle of
the Church year. These themes can then be interpreted in a range of ways and
different resources used to enable them to be used over several years. The
suggested Collective Worship Planning Formats could be used.

Schools may organise Collective Worship in a variety of different ways which still meet the legal requirements. The whole school does not have to meet together every day, as long as every pupil has a daily experience of Collective Worship. This can be in Key Stage group or as a class. Each of these groupings lends itself to a different kind of worship, so pupils in a school where different groupings are used may get a richer, broader experience of Collective Worship.
