bath & wells: mission
Archdeaconry zambia evenings
A Zambian evening will be held in each archdeaconry during July for representatives from link parishes and others interested to get together to discuss ideas and issues, hear about life in Zambia and look to the future.
Revd Joseph Kapungwe of St Cyprians and St Bernard Mizeki Parishes in Mulfulira, Northern Zambian and his wife Barbara will be in Bath and Wells in July visiting their link parishes of Castle Cary and Corton Denham and it is hoped that they will be guests at some of the meetings.
Tuesday 11 July, Taunton Archdeaconry. St John & St Francis Primary School, Westonzoyland Road, Bridgwater, TA6 5BP.
Wednesday 12 July, Bath Archdeaconry. St John’s Church Hall, Keynsham, BS31 2BL.
Wednesday 19 July, Wells Archdeaconry, The Conference Room, The Bishop’s Palace, Wells, BA5 2PD.
The venues will be open from 6.30 for people to look at displays, and the main part of the evenings will start at 7.30. The intention is to have feedback from the meetings held in Zambia, to share people’s experiences of the link from this end, and discuss how we can make it work even better. Specific invitations will be going out by e-mail to link parishes, but anyone else interested will be most welcome, and can get further information by contacting me on 01749 670777 or jenny.humphreys@bathwells.anglican.org
