DEVELOPMENT MATTERS: LINKED LECTIONARY

Development Matters links the Sunday lectionary readings with contemporary global justice issues.

The idea is to provide preachers with facts, quotes and illustrations for use in 'ordinary' sermons - both to help people connect today's world with the Bible and to help people understand more about 'structural sin' (and what we can do about it). There's good news and stories of hope too!

July 2008: We are a having a break from producing the lectionary guide this quarter. We aim to be back in the Autumn with a revised structure, which will build on the work done so far, and develop it into a rolling 3 year lectionary cycle.

In the meantime, the previous editions from the past three years are available below, along with links to the 'points and parallels' drawn from the entire six years' production to date. We hope you'll find them a useful reference.
