EFFECTIVE CHURCH MEETINGS

The course enables church meetings

to be more effective. It is designed for all members of a church meeting and it is anticipated that everyone will attend the course. The course is ideal for Local Ministry Teams, PCCs, and Benefice Councils. It covers:

• Modelling the Kingdom of God during meetings

• Describing present meetings honestly and constructively

• Identifying changes in meeting structure that will help growth and development

• Identifying the changes in behaviour and process that will help with growth and development

• Specifying how the meeting will know it is making progress

• Deciding how and when the meeting will review its progress

Before the course there is some reading to do and during it there are group discussions. The initial session is two and quarter hours followed by a progress review session once three Church meetings have taken place.
