WORKING DISCIPLES

Working Disciples supports encourages and develops the witness of Christians at work. It is designed for Christians working in trade, commerce, industry, the public sector and the voluntary sector, whether they are waged or volunteers. The course covers:

• Past and current experiences of being a Christian at work and hopes and fears for the future

• The challenges between faith and work and how the church can provide support

• Christian understandings of daily work

• The significance of the Cross today in places of work

• Opportunities for Christian witness in places of work

Short talks, group work, Bible study and discussion are used in the course. The course comprises two sessions each of 2 hours and 15 minutes including worship.
