The Diocesan Parishes and Deaneries Team are available to support all those who work with or have an interest in the children and young people of this Diocese.

OUTLINE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Tony Cook - Parishes and Deaneries Team Coordinator & Youth Adviser

• Lead & manage the Parishes and Deaneries Team.
• Work across the Diocese at a strategic level.
• Work in partnership with the statutory & voluntary youth  sector.
• Liaising & networking with youth agencies working in the Diocese.
• Support, develop & encourage work with young people.
• Support, develop & encourage work with young people.
• Provide advice & guidance to parishes & the wider Church in the field of youth  work.
• Develop & provide training programmes for youth  leaders.
• Support & encourage full/part time Youth  Workers

Jane Whitcombe - Children’s Adviser

• Work across the Diocese at a strategic level.
• Work in partnership with the statutory & voluntary children's sector.
• Liaising & networking with children's agencies working in the Diocese.
• Support, develop & encourage work with children.
• Provide advice & guidance to parishes & the wider Church in the field of children's work.
• Develop & provide training programmes for children  leaders.

Bridget Down - Young Adults Development Worker

• Support the development of work with young adults (age 17 - 21) and a wider Church in their work of providing the personal, social, educational and spiritual development of this age group, and to develop that work through the Church and other agencies.
