Young Peoples' Voices Heard!
Sedgemoor Deanery Youth Project has been successful in obtaining some funding from Gcap Media plc – V Project. This has enabled the deanery to bring together young people from the different churches to raise their profile by forming a youth forum. This represents the 'voice' of the young people, raising their views, enabling them to work together, encouraging others and carrying out training where appropriate.
Events will include a teambuilding day, celebratory event, and monthly activities all with lots of fun. Funding will also help to establish 'Liquid Faith' a non-alcoholic cocktail bar. This cocktail bar will be available to hire for any youth groups/events/school clubs.

Youth Placement
Radstock Ecumenical Youth Project is offering a placement for a student youth worker who will help us to:
- Reach young people with the gospel in a variety of different ways and help them to develop and grow as Christians.
- Further develop outreach opportunities in our local community.
- Support a small team of volunteers in the development of our work with young people.
The project runs Christian youth work in our town, just eight miles south of Bath and we currently have a vacancy for a Student Youth Worker, who is seeking to enrol on the BA (Hons) degree in Youth and Community Work and Applied Theology at the Centre for Youth Ministry at Bristol Baptist College www.centreforyouthministry.ac.uk.
Package includes: all course fees, travelling costs, lodgings, and living allowance.
