Confirmation 

Confirmation is an important part of our work with young people in the diocese of Bath and Wells. It is the start of an exciting journey as young people make a public statement of faith and a new commitment to serving God and the church as a disciple of Jesus Christ. 

This can be a time when they are given the opportunities to serve God and minister to others in new and exciting ways and it's important that young people are drawn fully into the life of the church after they have been confirmed.

Preparing for confirmation

In preparing for confirmation young people may discover new things about living the Christian faith in context, worship, prayer, the Bible and what it means to be a young Christian in the Anglican Church.

There are bound to be lots of questions which gives adults an opportunity  to travel alongside young people during a time when they are making a significant decision about their faith.
