Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools (SIAS)

All Church of England schools are inspected under the National Society Framework, alongside or shortly after an Ofsted inspection. The SIAS process is also used for Methodist and ecumenical schools.

Revised National Society Framework (2009)

The Framework was revised in 2009 and now provides a process for evaluating the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the church school.  This part of the inspection is based on self-evaluation by the school.
