Meet Rabbi Francis Ronald Berry. Rabbi Berry is Minister of the Bristol & West Progressive Jewish Congregation. He's a member of the Multifaith Chaplaincy Teams at the University of Bristol and UWE. He teaches Classical Hebrew in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Bristol. He is a Sofer Stam which means he writes Jewish Sacred scrolls. He has taught science and has worked on disease control & prevention in Africa, Israel and Scandinavia. Refreshments provided. Collection for the Rabbi's Charitable Trust.

Planned Giving Promoters training. Parishes which have a local person, known to the congregation, and working amongst church members to encourage generous giving typically have higher levels of giving than parishes which do not. This event is offered to train/support parishes which have or wish to recruit a Planned Giving Promoter. A one-to-one stewardship surgery is also available from 6.00 pm, on request.
