Charity Concert: The Sunset Cafe Stompers. This 7-piece jazz band, led by Mike Denham (piano), are the leading West Country exponents of New Orleans style Jazz. They have played twice before in Martock to large audiences and Mike Denham has played in Martock Church no less than 7 times since 2005. He informs us that with their new trombone player and the amazing Eddy Edwards on banjo, they are playing better than ever. Real toe-tapping tunes. Martock Guardians Charity New Orleans Jazz Concert. The Sunset Cafe Stompers, the leading West Country jazz band under their talented pianist leader, Mike Denham, will be giving their third concert in Martock Church since 2009. Mike will be performing for the eighth time since 2007 in solo, Duo, Quintet, Sextet or Septet groupings. SCS will play jazz standards and popular tunes from the jazz age. Organ Recital. Internationally renowned organist, David Goode, will be giving a recital on Saturday 18th February at 7 p.m. in St Peter and St Paul's Parish Church, Shepton Mallet.
David has a busy and varied concert career having performed worldwide, on BBC Radio 3 and at The Proms. David has also been Organist and Head of Keyboard at Eton College.

Somerset Chamber Choir: Out of the East. Join Somerset Chamber Choir on this journey East exploring a delectable selection of inspiring sacred choral works from Russia and the Baltic countries, interspersed with piano pieces played by dazzling pianist Anita D'Attellis.
The fascinating journey will feature choral music by well-known composers from the region, such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov (including movements from the Vespers) as well as discovering the works of more recent composers and piano works by Chopin and more.
