This study day will explore some of the challenges and opportunities that face us in our communities as we seek to explore, proclaim and celebrate the shape and meaning of Good Friday. Participants will have an opportunity to share some of their own experience of worship during this day and will be introduced to a range of resources that might enable us to engage in the spiritual and theological meanings of Good Friday within the context of Holy Week.
While the bulk of our exploration will be for adults who participate in worship that day, we shall cover some of the resources available for all age worship and especially worship with children.
Participants should expect to do a very small amount of pre-preparation for this day.
