19:00 Friends of Wells Cathedral 80th Anniversary Celebration Weekend. A weekend of events, including the annual Friends' Day, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Friends of Wells Cathedral. Events will include a concert of Saturday evening.

15:00 Friends of Wells Cathedral Celebration Evensong. A special Evensong in thanksgiving for the Friends of Wells Cathedral. The Preacher will be the Right Reverend Peter Price, Bishop of Bath and Wells and Patron of the Friends. Music at the service will include a composition by Matthew Owens, Organist and Master of the Choristers, specially commissioned by the Friends for their 80th anniversary. Everyone welcome. The Clergy Gathering planning group - led by Revd Martin-Lloyd Williams - is working to create an event that will nurture and energise clergy across the Diocese.
