10:00 Loss of Innocence - Children's Art from Gaza. St John the Baptist Church in Frome will host this exhibition from 8-17 March. For 22 days in January this year, 1.25 million people in Gaza, enclosed behind a wall, were fired on by land, sea and air. Over 300 children were killed, many more injured, 1400 children lost at least one parent and all were traumatised by what they experienced. Rod Cox, from Chester, went to Gaza in March to work with schoolchildren who were using art to express their experiences and their hopes for the future. Some of the children’s artwork has been mounted in this powerful and moving exhibition. Rod promised the children that he would allow their stories to be heard by showing their pictures around Europe. Please help him to keep that promise by supporting the exhibition.
