The Diocesan Board of Finance is pleased to be able to offer small grants to encourage and support churches seeking to try something new in order to reach new people with the story of Jesus. These grants are designed to support our diocesan vision to be “Living and telling the story of Jesus”.
When developing your project, we encourage you to:
- listen to and reflect on your community and context
- reflect on our diocesan vision and strategy
- notice how God is already at work
- discern how your church can join in
All applications for mission grants should align with Five Marks of Mission, and also with the diocesan vision and strategy. You will be asked to confirm this as part of the Expression of Interest process.
Growing Churches grants are for applications of £500-£5000.

To find out more and to register your interest in applying for a Growing Church grant, please complete the Expression of Interest form. Once this has been reviewed, eligible applicants will be sent a supplementary application form.
