#Zambia40 celebrations begin with Live. Learn. Link

A team of 28 people from right across the diocese today embark on a journey of discovery as they accompany our Bishops on a two-week trip to Zambia.

The Live. Learn. Link visit is the first of a programme of events organised to mark 40 years of the Bath and Wells – Zambia link.   It has been devised as an immersive, educational experience and will see Bath and Wells folk hosted by local families in the five different Zambia dioceses, coming together for a special service of thanksgiving at Lusaka Cathedral on 29 April.

Get involved..

  • Our LiveLearnLink-ers will be reporting back regularly from Zambia, using all the tools at their disposal.  Look out for posts, tweets, vlogs and videos under the hashtag #LiveLearnLink  on the diocese’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
  • Use the programme  and the delegates list below to pray for the group at different points on their journey
  • Host your own Zambia Sunday to coincide with the Lusaka celebrations on 29 April.  Stuck for ideas?  Check out these resources.
  • Come along to the UK celebrations on 14 July at Wells Cathedral and the ‘after-party’ at the Bishops Palace with live music, ice cream and more.  Details to follow.
