On 21 March there was a particularly colourful assembly at Rockwell Green Church of England Primary School . The children were presented with the cloths to use in assembly across the different seasons of the church year. The children designed them last year during a worship day.
They have now been made up in cloth by the school chaplain, Helena Power, who told the children how much she had enjoyed working with their ideas. As well as presenting them with these, she also gave them a teddy supplied with vestments in all the colours, knitted by members of All Saints’ Church. Councillor Marcus Barr (pictured) was also present at the assembly as he had donated his allowance to purchase the new worship table, and was delighted to have the opportunity to give something to the community he represents.
