Chew Stoke Church School take part in multi cultural art project based on RE resource

Children at Chew Stoke Church School recently held a multi cultural week, during which they created The Big Frieze which depicts The Big Story of the Bible. This project was led by Religious Education (RE) Leader, Carole Hope.

Carole is one of many RE Leaders who has attended the Understanding Christianity training which has been ongoing since 2016.  Many schools are now using Understanding Christianity to support the teaching of Christianity in schools.

Below are some pictures showing the children’s work. If you are inspired by this, why not do the same in your school? If you are an RE Leader and are interested in attending the Understanding Christianity Training, please keep an eye on our Training Opportunities for Schools page for the dates in the next academic year.
