Wandering in a Weary Land – online Lent retreats

This Lent Simon Hill, Archdeacon of Taunton is leading three online Lent retreat ‘days’ via Zoom. Called ‘Wandering in a Weary Land’ these will begin and end with prayers together and will also provide an opportunity for people to have space for God.

There will be input from Archdeacon Simon with insights from today, the Old Testament and the New Testament, there will also be room for people to take some time away to do what they like; to perhaps pray, read, eat, walk, draw or just be still.

The retreats take place on:
• Friday, 5th March 9.30 to 12.30 – particularly with clergy in mind
• Saturday, 6th March 9.30 to 12.30 – particularly with Churchwardens in mind
• Wednesday, 10th March evening 6.30 to 9.30 – particularly with Readers in mind

Simon encourages all who are free to come along, “It would be lovely to see you at one of these and pray together there. If you cannot make the one aimed at you, do come on one of the other dates.”

To book please email Julia Gratton with Lent Quiet Day and your chosen date in the subject line and a Zoom link will be sent nearer the day.
