Men's Mental Health Day man head clasped

POSTPONED: Men’s Mental Health Day: Where’s your head at?

18th Jan : 09:30 to 15:30

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to postpone this event. It will no longer take place on 18 January. Please check back soon for the new date.

Start 2020 the best way you can. Come to the Men’s Mental Health Day at Wells Blue School.

A day to safely explore and engage with themes of modern masculinity, male identity, and men’s mental health.

Facilitated by the Diocese of Bath and Wells, run by mental health experts from throughout the region.

Neil Madill, diocesan Mission Development and Inclusion Enabler says, “This event is open to each and every man. Any age, every background from all faiths and none. We all have mental health, we all need to engage with it.”

Speakers at the event include:

  • Jonathan Clark, Premier Christian Radio and Premier Lifeline
  • Cory Stewart, Counsellor and Men’s Health Specialist
  • Henry Maddicott, award-winning spoken word artist
  • Daniel Edmond, speaker, entrepreneur, owner ‘Milk for Tea’

To facilitate a safe space to explore these themes, this event will be open to men only.

The entire event will be signed for those hard of hearing.

Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day.  Please bring your own lunch. Alternatively, there are many options for buying lunch in Wells.

If you would like to register for this event, please complete the form below.

If you have any questions, please email Josie Halla or call 01749 685 104.

Help us spread the word, download the poster and display it in church, in your workplace, community noticeboard and beyond…
