Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment

Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment offers a practical course in listening and spiritual accompaniment.

Exploring  Spiritual Accompaniment

This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary for the work of spiritual accompaniment. People who already find that others speak with them in confidence about spiritual matters, whether formally or informally, are often likely to be suitable for this course. Similarly, people who offer pastoral care and have good listening skills, as well as a good understanding of the faith journey, may like to develop this area of their lives.

Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment is for people who have already completed Exploring Spirituality or another course in Christian Spirituality and Christian Traditions. Both lay and ordained people are welcome to join the group.

Those interested will need to complete an application form and attend an interview. You will, also, need to provide references. For the sake of the group, and your own development, we request a commitment to attend all sessions, as far as possible.

This course should run, next, in September 2019. The cost will be approximately£480 payable in termly installments of £160. This fee include course booklet, all handouts, a residential retreat, and refreshments. You will find more course details on the e-flyer available to download below.

Application forms will appear here after Easter.
