Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment

Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment offers a practical course in listening and spiritual accompaniment.

Exploring  Spiritual Accompaniment

This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary for the work of spiritual accompaniment. People who already find that others speak with them in confidence about spiritual matters, whether formally or informally, are often likely to be suitable for this course. Similarly, people who offer pastoral care and have good listening skills, as well as a good understanding of the faith journey, may like to develop this area of their lives.

Exploring Spiritual Accompaniment is for people who have already completed a course in Christian Spirituality and Christian Traditions such as Exploring Spirituality. Both lay and ordained people are welcome to join the group.

Those interested will need to complete an application form and attend an interview. You will, also, need to provide references. For the sake of the group, and your own development, we request a commitment to attend all sessions, as far as possible.

This course is not being run at present. If you would like to be kept in touch when we do run this course then please email Leonie Jones.

Spirituality is:

the journey…

encountering the other…

the divine…

being transformed…
