Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE)

As a diocese we would like to support you with your implementation of RSHE especially in aligning this with your ethos as a church school.

You will have seen the government guidance and particularly the final document on this webpage relating to the timescale for implementation from September 2020:

The Church of England guidance is very useful, especially in regards to consulting with parents and you can find all the resources here:

Goodness and Mercy is a selection of RSHE resources written primarily for Church of England schools. They are free to access and download and all schools are welcome to use them. They contain everything that you need for RSHE implementation including knowledge organisers, activities planners and resources to introduce faith sensitive and inclusive RSHE to governors, parents and staff.

We recognise that there are some schools using Jigsaw materials and this company has mapped their resources to the Goodness and Mercy outcome statements to support church schools. These can be found below as downloads.
