Yr4 Pilgrim Days – FULLY BOOKED

Tuesday 3, Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 March 2020

An opportunity for Year 4 children in their final year of first school to meet together in their cathedral to think about pilgrimage, journeys and special places. We open and close the day by worshiping together and in between children take part in workshops including; a cathedral tour, active theatre, music, craft and story.

If your school has booked to attend you will receive a confirmation email with further details and an invoice before by the end of November. In January you will receive a workshop allocation form to be completed and returned in advance of the day, along with class prayers. Year 6 Pilgrim Days – BOOKING OPEN

Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17, Thursday 18, Friday 19, Monday 22  and Tuesday 23 June 2020.

An opportunity for Year 6 children from primary and junior Church schools to attend a Pilgrim Day event and meet together in their Cathedral as they prepare to move on to secondary school. We open and close the day by worshipping together and, in between, children take part in workshops including a tour of the Cathedral or Bishop’s Palace, theatre, music, art, history, environment and world issues.

Yr4 & Yr6 Pilgrim Worship Events – BOOKING OPEN

  • Thursday 2nd July, 10.30am and 1pm, St Mary Magdaelene’s, Taunton 
  • Friday 3rd July, 10.30am and 1pm, Holy Trinity, Yeovil 

An opportunity for either Year 4 or Year 6 children, moving on to middle or secondary school, to meet together in worship and take part in activities in different churches across the diocese.

To book for the Yr6 Pilgrim Days and Pilgrim Worship Events, please use the booking form below by Friday 7th February. Please note that unless stated as attending as 1:1 support, each adult that you book will be allocated a group of children from your school to supervise on the day. Please make sure you clearly state on the booking form if any adults are 1:1 support. If your booking is successful, a confirmation will automatically go to the email address given on the booking form, if you do not receive this, please try again or contact us.
