Property Manager/Diocesan Surveyor

Through income generated by the Property Team’s work over recent years we are able to grow our team, strengthening our capacity in this area and enabling us to continue generating the operational income that supports the DBF’s mission and ministry, ensuring that property services continue to enhance our efficient, financially sustainable, and responsiveness to the needs of our parishes and clergy.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager/Diocesan Surveyor to oversee clergy housing and diocesan residential properties in the Diocese. This is an excellent opportunity to use your professional expertise to support our clergy and contribute to long‑term asset stewardship.

You will manage all aspects of the residential property portfolio in the southern area of the Diocese, ensuring statutory compliance, high maintenance standards, effective planning, and strong relationship‑management with clergy, parishes, contractors, and colleagues.

We’re looking for:

  • Chartered Surveyor (RICS) or equivalent experience
  • Strong property, compliance & project management skills
  • Excellent communicator, organised & compassionate
  • Able to work across a varied residential portfolio
