The Finance Assistant role supports with financial administration tasks such as:
• Entering daily financial transactions;
• Dealing with invoices;
• Monthly statements;
• Providing Fund Account holders with monthly information;
This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be required as determined by the needs of the Charity. The role is home based with intial training in Timsbury and is responsible to the Director of Finance and Operations.
It is expected that the work undertaken will take up to three hours per week on average. The payment will be dependant on the capability and experience of the successful applicant; payment will be at an agreed hourly rate and payable on receipt of a monthly invoice detailing work undertaken and hours spent.
Initially work will be undertaken at the Director of Operation’s personal office in Timsbury during mutually agreed daytime hours but as the individual becomes familiar with the work home working will become the norm.
We are looking for someone with good inter-personal skills, familiarity with office-based IT applications and is supportive of the Charity’s mission.
