Pre-School Administrator - St Mary's Pre-School, Yatton

St Mary’s Pre-School in Yatton is based in the Chapter House within the grounds of St Mary’s Church, Yatton, North Somerset.

Reporting to the Pre-School Manager, the Pre-School administrator will be responsible for
•    The administration of early years funding with North Somerset Council
•    Producing letters informing parents/carers of fees 
•    Ordering equipment and paper and other resources 
•    Ordering milk 
•    Act as secretary for the Pre-School Committee 
•    Provide pre-school information to the PCC Treasurer and support with Budget information
•    Attend courses as required

We are looking for someone who is educated to A-Levels or equivalent and has proficient use of Microsoft. Early Years funding knowledge, attention to detail and ability to take accurate minutes would be desirable.
The personal qualities we are seeking are someone with high levels of confidentiality and discretion; is helpful and polite with a professional manner and is in sympathy with the aims, values and ethos of the Diocese of Bath and Wells and of the mission and ministry of the Church of England.

The role is for 4 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks). It is a hybrid role with the expectation of one morning a month at the pre-school. Pay is at National Minimum Wage. The holiday entitlement is 28 days per calendar year plus bank holidays, pro rata. Holiday pay is rolled up and paid monthly. The holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December. The post will be subject to a six-month probationary period
