Annual Readers Day 2021

Date: 2nd October 2021

Training Morning: 09:30 - 13:00

Cathedral Service: 14:00 - 15:00

We are delighted to invite you to join us for the 2021 Annual Readers Day. This year we will be joined by The Very Revd Dr John Davies, Dean of Wells, who will lead the training morning at Flourish House and will be preaching at our service. He will be exploring the topic of ‘Repairing Christ’s Church’. As Christian ministry is rebuilt after the pandemic, what kind of church shall it build, and how can Readers be part of the rebuilding?

In the afternoon we will be licensing our newest Reader and will welcome those who have moved into the Diocese. We will also take the opportunity to celebrate those licensed last year and the ministry of all Readers.

The day will begin at Flourish House, Wells with arrival at 09:30 for a 10:00 start followed by the 2:00pm Reader Service at Wells Cathedral.

Click here to book your place on this special day. Please note that places for the study morning are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. There is no limit for the Cathedral service but do book your place so we can ensure that adequate seating is provided.

If you find that are no longer able to attend please let us know so that your place can be offered to someone else.
