Church Money Matters
The first of the archdeaconry Church Money Matters gatherings for anyone interested in church finances will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 on Friday, 23 May at Flourish House, Wells. Further sessions are planned to take place in Bath Archdeaconry (14:00 to 17:00 on Monday, 15 September) and Taunton Archdeaconry (18:00 to 21:00 on Tuesday, 14 October).
Natalie Wainwright, Lead Giving and Fundraising Adviser says, “The sessions are designed to provide a space to look at the financial challenges we are facing, share your hopes and successes with those facing similar challenges, and find out more about the range of resources available to help.
“There will be facilitated discussions, an opportunity to pose questions to members of both the diocesan finance team and the giving and funding team, and we plan to arrange a series of workshops so that we offer something for everyone, from the newly appointed treasurer, the longstanding fundraiser, and everyone in between.”
If you are interest in attending the Wells Church Money Matters session, please register your interest using the online booking form.
