Members of the Finance and Giving and Funding teams will be hosting four lunchtime Question and Answer sessions during 2026 for anyone with a question about church money. You can submit your questions in advance, or during the sessions. 

The Wednesday sessions will take place via Zoom between 12:30 and 13:30 on 11 March, 3 June, 9 September and 4 November.

Money Matters training days

There are two opportunities this year to gather all those involved in money matters across our diocese, from Treasurers, to Gift Aid Secretaries, Planned Giving promoters and everyone in between. These longer sessions will cover a range of topics in relation to giving, funding and church finances, the first with a particular focus upon encouraging more generous giving from within existing church membership and, the second, how to appeal to the wider community.

Each day will run on a Saturday from 10:00 -16:00 at Flourish House, Wells, with more general content shared in the morning and smaller workshop sessions, focused on more specific topics, following a light lunch.
