Music Coordinator - St Andrew's Clevedon

St Andrew’s Church, Clevedon actively seeks an enthusiastic and passionate Worship Coordinator to lead and facilitate Christ-centred worship within our weekly Church services. This is a vital role and involves collaborating with service leaders to shape and craft Church services, with the sole purpose of strengthening and deepening the faith of our whole church community with God. Alongside this, the role involves taking a creative lead in morning services, utilising a strong musical ability, to blend a mix of traditional hymns and modern contemporary songs into our sung worship.

St Andrew’s benefits from a small group of highly committed, open-minded musicianswho form the music team, attending on a weekly basis to support the deliverance of worship within the church. The role will involve coordinating the team to lead the congregation in spirit-enthused weekly worship. St Andrew’s has also recently invested in a range of brand-new audio and musical equipment, intended to enhance and
empower the worship being led at the front of the church.

Main responsibilities:
● Collaborate with Service Leaders to plan and co-ordinate weekly services which allow our congregation to connect with God and grow their faith.
● Deliver spirit-filled worship during our weekly services using a balance of contemporary and traditional songs.
● Manage the introduction of new worship songs within the church.
● Arrange and lead weekly music rehearsals.
● Work closely with the audio/visual teams to deliver engaging worship on a weekly basis.
● Grow and develop current and new members of the Worship team through training, support and encouragement.

The role is for approximately 10 hours per week and the appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure with barred list information.
