The Benefice comprises seven rural parishes situated in South Somerset, close to the Dorset border in beautiful countryside and within easy reach of larger towns and cities. Are you enthusiastic about rural ministry? Would you enjoy leading our growth as flourishing rural churches, inspiring the next generation?
We are looking for someone who will:
• Lead us in identifying and using our strengths, and each church’s unique mission and ministry;
• Inspire us being imaginative and courageous in offering fresh ways of connecting with God in our rural context while also acknowledging our diverse worship traditions;
• Encourage us in serving the pastoral and spiritual needs of all ages in our communities, including children and young people;
• Enjoy taking an active visible part in the life of our communities.
