Shared deanery leadership
As a diocese we seek to release the gifts of all God’s people. We know that the best way to serve our communities is through clergy and laity pooling resources, skills and knowledge, learning from each other and working together, as well as in collaboration with other partners in each community. To operate effectively, each of our 19 deaneries need a number of key people in key roles:
A deanery may also develop other roles to lead on particular areas, for example worship and prayer, communications, discipleship and training. There are many and varied opportunities to get involved. The downloadable resources for Sharing in Deanery Leadership you can find below aim to support and encourage conversations about shared deanery leadership, what it means and who might be involved.
