A spoken word Easter

14th April 2022

Andy Levett Bath and Wells Growing Faith & Everyday Faith Adviser for Taunton Archdeaconry, has been working with Dave and Sarah Ledger and the team at Living Light Church Taunton to produce a  video for young people which is all about Easter

Andy said, ““The idea for the video came from a conversation with Alison Vercoe, chaplain at Taunton Academy, some months ago about involving a variety of local Christians in Collective Worship. It also felt like there was a gap in the market for a spoken word video that tells the story of Easter in a way young people could connect with.”

The result, thanks to a lot of hard work from the Living Light creatives is a brilliant video that can be used by schools, churches and households either as a complete 10-minute video presentation or by using the Easter story spoken word.

Before the schools broke up for the Easter holidays, Alison Vercoe invited Dave and the team from Living Light Church into school to lead a special Easter assembly for each year group, the Easter story spoken word video was shared with pupils on the big screen and also some live music from the Living Light band.

What is Easter? Spoken word.
