Wells Cathedral announces changes to its admission guidelines

1st March 2024

Wells Cathedral will remain free to enter for worship, prayer, and to light a candle. Free passes will be avail able for parishioners in the diocese. Anyone who is on the parish electoral roll (or Cathedral Community Roll) is eligible to apply for a Wells Cathedral Parish Pass.

The King has approved the appointment of the Reverend Canon Toby Wright, Team Rector of Witney and Honorary Canon of Christ Church, Oxford, to be appointed as Dean of Wells, in succession to the Very Reverend Dr John Davies.
