Bishop Michael shared the following message after learning of the news that a major incident had been declared in Somerset.
“Our hearts go out to all the children, staff, and families caught up in this terrible situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time. They are also with those in our emergency services as they care for everyone involved. Our local clergy and churches will be supporting the Minehead community as this situation develops and we learn more about what has happened.”
