We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jenny Hollingsworth as our new Diocesan Secretary.
Jenny is currently Deputy Diocesan Secretary, Head of Strategic Resources and Implementation at Portsmouth Diocese; she also been Acting Diocesan Secretary for them. Prior to working for Portsmouth, Jenny worked for SPIRASI (Spiritan Asylum Services Initiative) in Ireland. She also been a Synod Officer for the General Synod of the Church of Ireland.
Bishop Michael said, “Jenny brings to the Diocese of Bath and Wells a rich experience and understanding of the work of local churches. She is someone who listens deeply and places a premium on the development of good relationships of mutuality and appreciation. I’m thrilled to bits that Jenny is joining us. She will be an excellent colleague and an asset to our work together."
