Earlier this year Bishop Michael asked people across our diocese to consider how we are living out our vision of living and telling the story of Jesus in response to God’s immense love for us, and to consider how we might best do that in the next season of our diocesan life together.
Many joined Bishop Michael and the Archdeacons in online discussion sessions about the vision and the proposed four areas of focus, others met in their own context and submitted they collective thoughts using the online form, and others responded individually.
Commenting on the feedback received, Bishop Michael said, “It has been immensely helpful to hear a range of views, suggestions and stories from across our diocese and to hear that the four key areas have broad acceptance, but there is still more work to be done and Bishop Ruth and I look forward to visiting the deaneries later in the year, updating them on our progress and continuing the conversation.”
While the formal consultation process has come to an end, anyone with further thoughts they would like to share, or any questions relating to work on the vision and plans for the future, can email livingandtelling@bathwells.anglican.org
