On Safeguarding Sunday churches across our diocese and nationally come together to reflect, pray and renew our commitment to ensuring our churches are a safe space for everyone. It’s also an opportunity It’s a chance to listen and to talk together about how we can create places and cultures that protect people from the damaging effects of harm and abuse and to give thanks for all those who work tirelessly in our churches to make them a safer place for all. Safeguarding Sunday will be marked on Sunday 16 November, but services can be held throughout the year.
