The congregation of St John’s Church, Yeovil give a special thank you to bell tower captain, Roger Fox, who is retiring at the age of 90.
 
                            
                    Fiona Gibson made a tour of the diocese on the day her appointment was announced, and received a wonderful Bath and Wells welcome from all the people and places she visited.
 
                            
                    Readers from across the diocese gathered in Wells for the Annual Readers’ Day. Following a morning at Flourish House, a Service of Admission, Licensing, Welcome, and Renewal of Commitment of Readers took place at Wells Cathedral.
 
                            
                    Two years after the person who managed their Gift Aid stepped down, St Peter’s and St Paul’s, Bishop Hull realised it was time to catch up with their Gift Aid submissions. Their efforts to get back up to date paid off.
 
                            
                    Thanks to the generous giving of parishioners in Peasedown St John, St John’s Church has given away another £12,000 this year to local, national and international causes.
 
                            
                    St Mary’s Church, Bridgwater will be marking Modern Slavery Day (18 October 2025) with an art exhibition on the theme of 'the hidden', from 17 to 19 October.
