DAC support for parishes strengthened
5th October 2023Support arrangements for the Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC), the body that advises parishes wishing to undertake work on the fabric or furnishings of their churches or churchyards, are changing.

3rd October 2023Earlier this year, the Pupil Chaplain team at Backwell Junior School took part in a discussion about caring for the environment with Bishop Michael Beasley. Following this discussion, the chaplains decided to get involved in St Andrew’s Church’s application for the Eco Church award.

New Chair for safeguarding advisory panel
21st September 2023The Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP) has a new chair. David Niven, who also carries out the role for the Diocese of Bristol, is an experienced social worker and former national chair of the British Association of Social Workers.
Treasurer training sessions return
